| GovTrip is a powerful, versatile application and database
that facilitates travel for all federal agency personnel.
Travelers and Travel Preparers
use GovTrip to arrange all aspects of transportation and
to receive/arrange for reimbursement quickly after travel.
Approving Officials (AOs) use
GovTrip to monitor and manage all necessary authorizations,
disbursements, and reimbursements.
Federal Agency Travel Administrators (FATAs) use
GovTrip to set up and maintain data for organizations,
groups, routing lists, and individual users. Administrators with the appropriate permission levels can also maintain lines of accounting
(LOAs) and Centrally Billed Accounts (CBAs).
For all users, GovTrip reduces the time and paperwork
previously associated with federal agency travel and greatly
simplifies a complex and time-consuming process.
