Approving Official Introduction |
Approving Officials (AOs) primarily use GovTrip in the Route and Review
module, which is available through the Administrative drop-down
menu on the GovTrip welcome page.
Route and Review is used to determine whether travel is necessary
for a traveler or travelers, and if the "should costs" are
accurate and within the budgetary constraints of the organization.
Process
All documents created in GovTrip (authorizations, vouchers, local vouchers, and group authorizations) ultimately route to the
AO for approval.
The following pages will introduce the toolbars and go through the
steps needed to review and approve a travel document.
